Customs & Import tax
We offer free international shipping on all orders. For more information, please refer to our Shipping Policy. Please note that all applicable customs duties, import taxes, and additional fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. We ship orders using either Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) or Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), depending on the destination country and the selected shipping carrier.
Do not worry, we offer free international shipping on all orders and primarily ship under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), meaning duties and taxes are included. In cases where DDP is not available in the selected country, Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) may apply, and any applicable customs fees or import charges may be required upon delivery. Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)
Under DDU shipping, customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in your order total. These charges may be requested by your local customs authority upon delivery and are determined according to your country’s regulations. Such fees may not appear at checkout.
Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)
Under DDP shipping, all applicable duties and taxes are collected at the time of purchase. In these cases, no additional charges should be required upon delivery.
Important Notice
Customs regulations may require us to declare the full value of your order on the shipping label. Please note that customs authorities in your country may inspect, delay, or refuse the release of any shipment. These processes are outside of our control.
If you refuse delivery due to unpaid customs duties or import taxes, and the order is returned to us, a restocking fee of twenty-five dollars (CAD $25) will be deducted from your refund.
Shipping
We offer free international shipping on all orders. This means the cost of delivery from our fulfillment facility to your destination country is included in the product price. Orders are shipped directly from our facility using trusted international carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, or other local postal services depending on the destination. Taxes & Duties
Canada: Orders shipped within Canada are subject to applicable sales taxes, including GST, HST, or QST, which are automatically calculated and applied at checkout.
International Orders: Orders shipped outside of Canada are not subject to Canadian taxes. However, your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees as determined by the destination country. These additional charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer. Where applicable, the courier (such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, or local postal services) may contact you directly to collect these fees before delivery. We primarily offer Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping whenever available, especially for major countries and regions where carrier support allows it. In limited cases where DDP is not supported due to carrier restrictions or local customs systems, Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) may apply. In such cases, any applicable import fees will be the responsibility of the customer, and you will be notified in advance if DDU applies to your order.
Important Information
Customs policies vary greatly from one country to another, please check with your local customs office for information about possible charges before placing an order. Refusal to pay duties or taxes may result in your package being returned or destroyed by customs. We are not responsible in such cases, and shipping fees will not be refunded. Duties and taxes are collected by your country’s customs authority, not by FHGS Vestimentaire.
